Flower Stars

Growing up in a rural part of northern India, the night sky would shimmer with stars as far as the eye could see.
I wanted to make a print that reminded me of my childhood, inspired by textures and floral patterns from the east.

The textures for the print were created by drilling dots onto a woodblock to compose the image.
Each print will have slight variations as each one is hand printed.
